Jane, our fab new lead organisational change manager, started in her role and got to work reading up on all the feedback from the workshops so far, and planning our focus for the next couple of weeks.
We now have two more workshops lined up. Please do add your name to this spreadsheet if you like to attend either of them:
- One for people early in their career – so that we can explore career pathways and development within HackIT 3.0 – on 30 June 2021
- One on standards and governance – where we’ll be thinking about how we design this function in more detail – on 5 July 2021.
We’ve also written a brief for the 3 prototype product teams in order to give some structure and more detail about what we want to learn from doing this. We’re starting with the managing documents product team – so we’ll be thinking about the roles we need and starting to shape that in more detail.
Next week – highlights:
We’ll be working on creating three anchor roles – within the areas of Communities of Practice; Product teams; and Standards and Assurance – and providing more detail on what they look like and how you can apply for them.
Jane will be meeting with our senior HR business partner Emily Cooper – who will eventually be working alongside us, when we get to the point that we’re ready to design a new structure more formally. For now, we want to make sure Emily understands the context for our thinking and is up to speed with the work so far, before we get to the more detailed stages of this work.
